Clear Aligners (Invisalign)

In patients requiring orthodontic intervention, if the case is appropriate, with the use of transparent molds, crowding can be corrected without the use of brackets and braces. The patient-specific molds, which will be changed every two weeks, should be used for approximately 20 hours per day. The duration of treatment varies from 2 to 24 months depending on the case.  During this time, the aligners should only be removed when eating, drinking or brushing teeth.

Approximately two weeks after the treatment, a new aligner is inserted, there are minor differences between the new and previous aligner that will straighten the teeth. Wearing aligners is a step to make the teeth look better.

Invisalign treatment does not create an aesthetic problem or speech difficulties because the transparent aligners are hardly visible from outside. Their usage is very flexible since they can be taken out on special occasions or business meals. It can be applied to individuals of any age, there is no upper age limit.
